Functional Testing

We test all devices for various functionalities. Phones rated AA+, AA- and AB Mixte must pass all functional tests using.

Units Graded AA+ to AB Mix must pass the following criteria:

  • Consumer data is erased

  • No activation lock (Find My iPhone, MDM, etc.)

  • No passcodes

  • No screen locks

  • No jailbroken/rooted devices

  • No swollen/disfunctional batteries

Visual Grading Guide

Grade AA- Mint Condition

  • Very clean device with light signs of usage

  • No deep scratches, chips, or marks on the screen, housing, or back

  • No screen lifting

  • No missing parts

  • No liquid damage

  • Battery and cover are intact, with no swelling in the battery

Grade AB Good Condition

  • No screen lifting

  • No missing parts

  • No liquid damage

  • Battery and cover are intact, with no swelling in the battery

  • Light wear and tear

  • Minimal light scratches on the device

  • Bezel may have light scratches or a minor dent in the corner
